Hello everyone,
We hope you are all keeping well. As the vaccination programme is rolled out, we can see some light at the end of the tunnel. In relation to the return to training and live games, the committee is in regular contact with Connacht Rugby, and we endeavour to let members know as soon as there are developments of note. We are very much looking forward to when we can return to playing and watching rugby live pitchside. In the meantime, we are enjoying the games on 'the box'.
Club Development and Volunteerism
The Club is looking to form sub-committees in the following areas:
Public Relations/Media/Social Media
Facilities Management
Fundraising
If you have experience or an interest in these areas, or just have a question about the sub-committees you can call Shelly on 0872871355 or email moniveapro@gmail.com.
Our focus this year will be on progressing in building our clubhouse and we will need lots of help.
For The Love of the Club is a fundraising initiative being run by Connacht Rugby and Bank of Ireland. It starts on St Patrick’s Day, March 17th, and lasts for one week until March 24th.
It is a virtual 'fun' 5km or 10km walk or run and participants can register at www.myrunresults.com. The entry fee is €10 and all of the money raised will go to the Connacht club of choice of any of the runners or walkers. Some members have already registered and we look forward to cheering you on, so keep us posted.
The 50/50 Draw remains our only weekly fundraiser so thank you for your continued support. Your contributions have never been more important and are greatly appreciated.
